No Ball?
The Marine who asked Rousey said he hasn't heard from her.

Standing Him Up?: Jarrod Haschert, the U.S. Marine who successfully asked Ronda Rousey to the Marine Corps Ball through an earnest Facebook video, hasn't heard from her—and the ball is the night of Friday, December 11. So yeah, she's probably not gonna make it. But on the other hand: This guy's date to the Marine Corps Ball gets knocked out with a left foot to the head in a highly televised MMA fight, and he waits until the day of the ball to get in touch with her? Dude should have at least published another Facebook video asking how she's doing! Show her you care, man! [Sports Illustrated]

New X-Men: Apocalypse Trailer: J-Law, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and co. are back in the latest X-Men installment from Bryan Singer—and this time, they're contending with Apocalypse, who is immortal and invincible and has it out for the Brooklyn Bridge, or something. Also appearing: an American-accented Sophie Turner (a.k.a. Sansa Stark from Game of Thrones) as a young Jean Grey.

Colbert Trumps Stewart: After crashing The Daily Show on Monday to stump for the passage of the Zadroga Act (which provides healthcare for 9/11 first responders), Jon Stewart made a guest appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to do the same. This time, however, Colbert forced his old friend to "Trump it up"—in this case, via a wig and some Cheetos makeup.

Now That's How You Commit: Daelin Hayes, a four-star-rated football recruit from Michigan, teamed up with Bleacher Report to put together a Dark Knight-styled video in which he runs through Detroit to pick the university where he'll play college ball. (We won't spoil it.)

ChromeCast Gets Shinier: The snazzy $35 device from Google, which allows you to wirelessly stream video or music to a TV from your phone, can now beam the multimedia of your choice to any room in your house—as long as you have the device in the room where you want to beam it, of course.
