The title of World’s Strongest Man is staying in the United States.

The 2016 World’s Strongest Man Competition Events Are Seriously Badass>>>

Brian Shaw finished in first place at the competition in Botswana, winning back-to-back titles after entering the competition as the favorite. The Colorado native, who stands 6′ 8″ and 430 lbs—no, not typos—beat out Iceland’s Hafthor Björnsson and England’s Eddie Hall for the win, his third in the last five years and fifth title in the last six.

 

Shaw took down Björnsson—who has yet to win a title but has finished in the top three for five straight years—with a great performance in the Atlas Stones. Although Björnsson won that event with a competition-crushing performance, Shaw was able to secure a second-place spot, which was enough to give him the overall title.

But the event was hardly an easy win for Shaw. Björnsson, the 6’9”, 395-pound Icelandic goliath who earned fame playing the legendarily strong Mountain on Game of Thrones, did his best to try and make the top spot on the podium—he set a world record with the keg toss during the competition and crushed the Atlas Stones:
