Talkin' 'Practice'
Allen Iverson wishes he could take back his (in)famous rant.
Allen Iverson, talkin' about practice in 2002.

Still Talkin' About Practice: Allen Iverson has just been been inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame, after a storied career as one of the greatest point guards ever to play the game. But when he sat down with the assembled Philadelphia media after his induction, he had just one wish: Taking back his infamous "We talkin' 'bout practice" rant. "My kids tease me about it," he said. "It makes me so mad. I'm a Hall of Famer and I can go outside today and go to a restaurant or wherever and somebody will come up to me and say, 'PRACTICE? We talkin' bout practice?!' Man, I am a Hall of Famer and that's all you can think about?" [CSN Philly]

The Margin of Error Is Now 0: The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the heretofore dominant Golden State Warriors, 124-117, in overtime on Tuesday night, as Minnesota's Shabazz Muhammad racked up 35 points off the bench. The Warriors are clinging to a 69-9 record, meaning they must win each of their final four games—two home-and-home series against the Spurs and the Grizzlies—to break the record set by the legendary '95-96 Chicago Bulls.

Citius, Altius, Fortius: Please join us (and the Google homepage) in celebrating the 120th anniversary of the Modern Olympic Games—officially the Games of the I Olympiad—held in Athens from April 6 to April 15 of 1896. Greek marathoner Spyridon Louis won the marathon (he did not die, as did his ancient predecessor) while German wrestler/gymnast Carl Schuhmann took home four golds.

TFW No One Recognizes You: Jack Nicklaus—who, last we checked, is still one of the most legendary golfers of all time—got something of a chilly reception to the Masters on Tuesday. (To be fair, he was wearing sunglasses, you guys.)

Watch from behind the scenes what happened when I arrived to Magnolia Lane and the Masters this afternoon!

Congrats, Tim Duncan: The basketball legend notched his 1,000th regular season win Tuesday night as his San Antonio Spurs defeated the Utah Jazz, 88-86, Tuesday night. Only two other NBA players in history have achieved that feat: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Robert Parish.

Congrats to TIM DUNCAN on winning his 1,000th game with the San Antonio Spurs, the third most all-time and first with single franchise!
