The Rock and Zac Efron Are Getting Absurdly Jacked for the New 'Baywatch' Movie

The new Baywatch movie is billed as an R-rated comedy-action flick, but that doesn't mean Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron aren't taking it seriously. Case in point: This behind-the-scenes training shot, in which The Rock and The Boy Wonder compete in a feat of manly strength: tire flips.

 

Production for the day has ended, all the extras are going home and the sun's going down. Me and @zacefron refuse to quit in a tire shrugging contest that lasted for hours. Why? Because we're #BAYWATCH, we're bad ass and we're a slightly dysfunctional family. ✔️ On a side discipline note juuuuuust wait til you see the insane shape my boy Efron got in for our movie. Yes, Efron looks a lot more muscular than usual. "Proud of the hard work he put in," Johnson says. "That's the way you make a character 'Iconic.'" Yes, Efron has always been pretty chiseled, and yes, he's flipping a tire. But even when you account for the lighting, Efron looks utterly cut up on the Baywatch set.

Doesn't matter. Rock beats Scissors in the tire contest.
