In the new trailer for the next season of Ballers, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson takes a friendly shot at a familiar Hollywood and fitness icon.
"Are you Vin Diesel?" another character asks.
"No," Johnson replies. "I'm bigger and better looking."
Shots fired, Dwayne—and remember, Diesel has plenty of chances to get back at you in the next three Fast and Furious movies.
The "People's Champ" will return to premium cable again when Ballers returns to HBO for its second season this summer. The Rock stars as Spencer Strasmore, a retired football player who mentors young jocks through big-money business and smoke-filled rooms of pro stardom—all while dealing with repercussions of his own past. This season, he's also butting heads with a Andy Garcia's character, a finance heavyweight who threatens to sink Strasmore's fledgling firm.
Also, in no particular order, there will be: Women in bikinis, speedboats, drugs, cars, booze, private jets, more women in bikinis, flyover shots of the Miami skyline, shots ordered at bars, yachts, yacht clubs, finely tailored suits, and (almost definitely) a few more women in bikinis. So yeah, we're watching.
