DAAAARYL!: In case you haven't noticed, Norman Reedus—a.k.a. Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead—is our March 2016 cover star. We obviously hadn't seen the Season 6 mid-season premiere when we decided to put Reedus on the cover, but after watching it Sunday night, we're pretty stoked that we did. Because—no spoilers here—the dude is bad freaking ass. That's all we're gonna say.

Deadpool Crushed It, Too: Marvel's first hard-R action movie annihilated records at the box office this weekend, parlaying a strong marketing campaign (and a potty-mouthed review from Betty White) into a $135 million opening weekend, the biggest opening ever for an R-rated movie, and the biggest-ever February opening. "It's Not About How You Win": Ronda Rousey took quite the beating in her loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193, first in the octagon and then in the public eye out of it. But she's had more than a few big-time athletes back her up—and now we can add Lakers great Kobe Bryant to that list. "I sent her several messages, so yes, we have touched base," said Bryant, who's had his share of hard knocks and injuries over a 20-year NBA career, in an interview with USA TODAY over the All-Star weekend.  "It's not about how you win. A true champion is about how you lose and come back from that.... It happens to the best of us. It happened with my Achilles (when I tore it), (Muhammad) Ali got put down several times – it happens to the best of us." [USA TODAY]

The Star Wars Continue: Filming on the next major installment in the Star Wars saga, the yet-otherwise-unnamed Episode VIII, has begun, Disney announced Monday. J.J. Abrams cedes the director's chair to Rian Johnson for this one, while Benicio Del Toro and Laura Dern will join the cast.

Winter Is Here (and Still Coming): HBO just dropped the first full trailer for Game of Thrones, and it's a pretty cryptic hint at who might die in the upcoming season:
