Henry Cavill just joined Instagram a few months ago, so it was only a matter of time before he started posting pictures of a "super" variety.
Cavill, who reprises his role as the Man of Steel in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, is in the "warm up phase" of training for his next Superman role in The Justice League: Part One, which is set to premiere in November 2017. (Like Disney/Marvel's blockbuster Avengers franchise, Warner Bros.' Justice League franchise will assemble DC's biggest heroes, including Superman.)
In the photo, presumably shot by his trainer Timothy Michael Blevins, Cavill notes that his current physique is just the "minimum goal," which means we can expect big things in the future—and we're expecting a lot out of the guy who plays Superman.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, directed by Zack Snyder and co-starring Ben Affleck as Batman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, soars into theaters March 25.
