"She Will Overcome": Dana White is doubling down on Ronda Rousey, who is set to once again face off against the new champion who deposed her, Holly Holm. The rematch could be as soon as July 9 in Las Vegas, White told the Los Angeles Times on Wednesday, even though Holm's camp wanted the new champion to fight a different challenger—specifically Meisha Tate—before then. “I’m not sure Ronda will be ready for a July fight,” Holm's manager Larry Fresquez told the Times. But White brushed those rebuttals aside, insisting that Rousey "will overcome it and be back." [Los Angeles Times]
For the Win: The Memphis Grizzlies' Matt Barnes knocked down a three-pointer from half freaking court Wednesday night, thereby evaporating all the oxygen in the Detroit Pistons' home arena.

The New "Phantom Menace": A downright nasty superbug called CRE, and nicknamed "the phantom menace," is among the most dire threats to public health facing the U.S. right now, according to a new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The bacteria can not only figure out ways to fight back against conventional antibiotics, but also transfer that learned antibiotic resistance to other bacteria in our bodies. We're no epidemiologists, but it must be pretty bad if scientists based the nickname off the worst Star Wars movie ever made. [Washington Post]
Possible Source of Gluten Intolerance: Besides celiac's disease, there hasn't been much scientific basis for minor gluten intolerance.
