Fitbit lets you earn money for three charities with your steps.

Need a little motivation to get moving this week? Strap on your Fitbit and log steps not only for your own good, but also to help fight diabetes, heart problems, and multiple sclerosis.

Starting today, November 9th, Fitbit is launching their FitForGood campaign to donate $1 million across three national non-profit organizations: The American Diabetes Association, The American Heart Association and National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

All you have to do is sign up at Fitbit.com/fitforgood. Select the charity team you’d like to join and then wear your Fitbit as usual, logging every step you take from November 9th through the 20th.

Once the campaign finishes, Fitbit will donate $500,000 to the organization with the team that logged the most steps. But the second and third place non-profits won’t go empty handed—they’ll earn $350,000 and $150,000 respectively.

Along the way, you’ll get motivation from actress, dancer, singer and Emmy Award-winning choreographer and Fitbit Ambassador, Julianne Hough. “FitForGood struck me as such an engaging, unique way to get people up and moving in support of three incredible causes,” said Hough in a release.

If you’re a fit Men’s Fitness reader, you probably are already logging 10,000 steps a day and getting in well over the recommended 30–minutes of activity a day. Why not pivot that into a good deed? Sign up today.
