Dr. Oz Gives Health Advice (and More) on Z100 Show This Morning

Dr. Oz breaks it down on AM radio show.

If your morning commute lacked some excitement, we're guessing you weren't tuned in to Z100's Elvis Duran and the Morning Show. Dr. Mehmet Oz made a special guest appearance and basically said weed can be healthy, losing weight can make your penis bigger (well, kinda)—and identified the part of the belly responsible for giving you that "beer belly."

It was all part of a quiz to raise up to $10,000 to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Oz provided the questions, the
correct answers, and additional comments—which were better than we expected. Here are 10 things we learned from Dr. Oz via z100 this AM:

1) It’s OK to smoke a little pot.

While on the topic of healthy lungs, Elvis Duran asked Oz, “Can I have a little pot once in a while?” Oz responded, “A little once in a while is better than doing it every day.” Just to make sure, Duran asked the question again: “So every once in a while, it’s OK to smoke a little pot?” Dr. Oz confirmed, “yes.” 

Oz’s only problem with pot isn’t “the pot per se,” but the persistent desire to smoke it that some people develop. “If you start smoking after age 20 it’s not that big a deal for people. It’s more difficult for people under 20, it’s a huge problem,” he explained.

Duran said he replaced his food addiction with getting horny... and it works, apparently.

Taking two baby aspirin (which is half of a regular aspirin) is good for you. A recent study found that people who took aspirin saw a reduction in colon cancer and aspirin also reduces inflammation, says Oz.

10) We should also take some time off.

"Most people work hard, not smart," said Oz. One of the biggest factors that cause people to become sick is because of financial reasons. Find time for yourself, because it lets stress pass through.
